"I am a certified elementary teacher with over 18 years of experience helping students grow into confident, capable readers. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Lebanon Valley College, my Master of Literacy from Clemson University, and a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University. I am also Read to Succeed endorsed and LETRS trained, with a deep understanding of the Science of Reading.

Throughout my career, I have taught third grade for three years, second grade for two years, and first grade for ten years. For the past four years, I have served as a Reading Interventionist, supporting students across multiple grade levels in small-group settings. As the lead interventionist, I plan intentional lessons tailored to each student’s specific reading needs, ensuring that instruction is both effective and engaging.

I am passionate about early literacy and helping students build strong phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension skills.
