"I have been teaching reading, math, writing, spelling and study skills as a one to one teacher for over 30 years. I have a Masters Degree in Education, a Standard Teaching credential, and have earned a Reading Specialist Credential. My area of special interest is in intervention for students with severe reading problems who have not been successful with previous remediation programs.

I have also found over the years that students with reading needs often require intervention in math, writing, spelling and study skills and these are included in our sessions as needed. In addition, my goal for students is a good prognosis for success in their classrooms, including better grades.

Finally, a little about me. I enjoy swimming, hiking, reading, movies, and being with friends and family.

I take great pleasure in working with my students to master important skills in each of our lessons.
