"I hold a Bachelor of Science in Teaching and a Master’s Degree in Reading and Language Arts, along with a Reading Specialist Endorsement and K–12 ESL (English as a Second Language) Certification. With 15 years of experience as a public school elementary reading specialist and 5 years teaching K–5 ESL, I bring deep expertise in supporting learners of all ages. In addition, I have worked as a private tutor for many years, serving students in both small-group and one-on-one settings.

My instructional approach is grounded in structured literacy and guided by the science of reading, with a strong focus on phonics, decoding, and fluency. I also integrate phonemic awareness, vocabulary development, and comprehension strategies to build well-rounded literacy skills.
