"Hello! I am Robert. I recently graduated from Columbia University with a BA in Economics and Slavic Studies. Having gone through the grind of preparing for the SAT and ACT exams, I am well aware of how daunting a challenge this can be. Still, these exams are based on a small set of basic patterns, if you know how to crack them quickly, you will succeed!

I have tutored the ACT and SAT for two years for the test-prep companies Top-A International and Hermiona Education. When applying to colleges, I chose to take both exams, scoring a 2300/2400 in the SAT and a 34 on the ACT. My experience taking the exams taught me the importance of developing effective test-taking strategies and knowing your weak spots. Therefore, I develop a unique curriculum for every student, that caters to his or her strengths and weaknesses.

I also have 2 years' experience teaching English, where I combine fun activities with an in-depth study of grammar. My students have gone on to study in American Universities and thrive in the US. I speak French, Russian and Spanish, and love helping others crack the secrets to language learning!

I am a native Russian speaker, born in Saint Petersburg. I have served as a translator for the United Nations, NYC Board of Elections and private clients. I have a university background in Russian, through which I can assist in grammar practice.
