"Hello! I'm Shantanu, and I am currently a student enrolled in Virginia Tech majoring in computer science and have always been motivated to help my friends and peers learn! My time in high school has helped me excel in connecting and breaking subjects such as Math and the SAT down for students of all ages. My lesson plans and schedule cover a lot of content in a digestible manner and I make sure that the student is engaged and receptive to the information that I present. I MAKE SURE they practice the material that I teach.

I have 4 years of Algebra and Calculus tutoring under my belt through my former tutoring service Poggers Pupils and have taught high school physics through meetings I ran at my high school. I have also tutored programming languages to middle school students for a couple of years. I am very flexible with my schedule and can be reached out to at almost any point in the day for assistance. My tutoring style consists of short lecture and immediate exercises to assess understanding across a lesson. I can also proctor tests and go over test papers or homework that the student might have struggled or is currently struggling with.
