"I'm Max! I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a minor in computer science at Washington State University. The majority of the classes I enrolled in involved not only topics I learned in high school (e.g., geometry, calculus), but also new ones (e.g., linear algebra, differential equations). Other subjects I took in college include statistics, psychology, biology, art, writing, and computer science. What I learned from each of those courses is 1) the content provided by the professors, 2) their ways of instruction, and 3) how amazing it is to interact in an inclusive learning environment. All those elements can be translated into one's tutoring experience. However, they can be adjusted for a subject and a student's needs.

I am a substitute paraeducator working at a school district for over a year. As a sub para, I have worked with many students from kindergarten to high school (especially those who needed the extra help). I held reading and math groups in resource rooms provided by the schools. While my primary focus is on mathematics, I am also willing to work with individuals or groups on other subjects.
