"I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University on the pre-dental professional track. My academic background provides a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, and mathematics. Prior to college, I earned multiple recognitions for academic achievement and leadership, including winning the 2021 KSEA National Mathematics Competition, receiving the Presidential Volunteer Service Award, and being honored multiple years as a RIDGE Scholar. These experiences reflect my dedication to academics and my commitment to helping others succeed.
I have several years of tutoring and teaching experience with students ranging from middle school to college. I began by helping classmates in middle and high school math and science courses, including Pre-AP and AP levels, and later assisted peers at Texas A&M and Blinn College in courses such as General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Anatomy & Physiology. I have also volunteered as a mentor for younger students, learning to adapt explanations for different ages and learning styles. My approach emphasizes breaking down complex material into clear, manageable concepts, using examples and practice problems, and fostering patience, encouragement, and confidence.
My tutoring experience includes one-on-one sessions and small group settings, both in person and online. Many students I have worked with sought to strengthen core knowledge, prepare for exams, or excel in advanced courses. By tailoring my teaching style to the individual needs of each student—simplifying concepts for middle school learners, providing study strategies for high school students, or guiding college students through challenging pre-professional courses—I create a positive and motivating learning environment. My goal is to help students not only improve academically but also develop deeper understanding and self-confidence in their abilities." less...
