"I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry in 2015. After graduating, I worked for some time as a ski and mountain bike rescue worker before getting started in education. In 2020, I enrolled in a Master's Degree program focused on Chemistry Education for High School students. While completing my degree, I began to teach full-time first in Physics, and later in Chemistry.

My approach to teaching begins with getting to know my students and their goals. This connection is the basis of any successful teaching and learning relationship and is the key to providing the learning experience my students and their families look for. With an understanding of both where they are coming from and going to, I can provide examples that help my students to understand difficult topics like Chemistry, Physics, and Biology, using examples that draw from their lives. I don't want my students to only "get by" - I want them to see science in their day-to-day life and to feel confident in applying scientific skills in the classroom and beyond.
