"My name is Zach W., and I have been a middle school Spanish teacher for nine years. I currently teach high school-level classes, including both introductory and Spanish immersion courses. Before beginning my teaching career in the United States, I worked as a teaching assistant in Spain. I earned my undergraduate degree in Spanish and History from Marquette University in Milwaukee, and later completed a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of St. Thomas in the Twin Cities.

I began tutoring in college by helping Spanish-speaking immigrants prepare for their U.S. citizenship exams. While in Spain, I tutored students aged 8 to 18 in English, working with them in their homes after school. After returning to the U.S., I continued tutoring Spanish to a wide range of learners—from elementary school students to adults preparing for careers in Spanish education. These sessions have taken place both in person and online, mostly in one-on-one settings.
