"I am a professional educator with 14 years experience teaching middle school social studies, holding Connecticut certification for grades 7-12. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Connecticut, along with a Sixth Year Certificate in Educational Leadership from Southern Connecticut State University. I am also a Fulbright award winner for the 2025-2026 cycle, participating in the Teachers for Global Classrooms program. Throughout my teaching career, I have emphasized a student-centered approach, focusing heavily on project-based learning and authentic assessments to encourage meaningful engagement and deeper understanding among my students.
