"Hello! My name is Fernanda Q. and I hold a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Master’s degree in Business and Finance. I am passionate about education and truly enjoy helping students grow academically and gain confidence in their learning.

I have extensive experience working with learners of all ages. I've served as a tutor at Ventura College, and have also worked as a teacher assistant and substitute teacher. These roles have allowed me to support students from elementary school through college, including adult learners.

I tutor in Spanish, Mathematics, and Statistics, and I offer instruction in both English and Spanish to better meet the needs of diverse students. My approach to tutoring is engaging, flexible, and student-centered. I aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring challenging topics.

I typically structure my sessions by first introducing topics in a simple and relatable way, then providing clear instruction followed by guided practice. I always leave time for students to work through problems on their own, with my support as needed. Of course, I tailor each session based on the student’s level, learning style, and goals.
