"Hello! Hola! I'm Julia and I love teaching Spanish to eager students of all ages. I graduated from Monmouth University as the top student in the Foreign Language department, earning a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Education Gr. K-12.

Before moving to Gainesville, FL to live closer to my grandchildren, I taught Spanish at Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School in Sarasota, FL where I was the senior class advisor and also choreographed some shows for the theatre department. Currently I teach Spanish to elementary school age children in an after school program called Fun Languages. I also teach adult classes for Santa Fe College Community Education, and do private tutoring for children and adults in my home.

Private tutoring sessions are tailored to suit each student's needs and goals. Whether your desire is to improve your grades, expand vocabulary, develop better pronunciation or comprehension, understand grammar, or simply to communicate more effectively in Spanish, my training, enthusiasm, and experience will help you achieve your goals.
