"I'm Madi! I hold a PhD in Psychology and have always been passionate about statistics and research methods—ever since my first undergraduate statistics class, I knew this was the field I wanted to dedicate my career to. With over 7 years of research experience, including authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications and presenting at national and international conferences, I bring real-world insight to every session. I’ve spent 4 years teaching as a Teaching Assistant, lab instructor, and Instructor of Record at the college level, where I guided students through complex statistical concepts and research design. I also formally tutored through my university’s honors program during undergrad and have informally supported countless undergrads with theses, assignments, and data analysis projects.

My tutoring style is patient, encouraging, and deeply student-centered. I focus on building conceptual understanding rather than rote memorization because I truly believe statistics isn’t “math”—it’s about discovering how factors relate to one another in meaningful ways.
