"I attended Rockhurst University, through which I have Bachelor’s degrees in Molecular Biology and Spanish with a GPA of 3.98. At Rockhurst, I received the Edward Kos Award for Academic Achievement in Cell and Molecular Biology. I also attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine for a year, after which I withdrew to pursue a different career path.

I’ve been a tutor for over two years, during which time I worked both as an independent tutor and as a part of various tutoring centers. I also have tutored in an Algebra 2 classroom as a part of a year of service. I’ve tutored from one on one up to a classroom of students at a time, and I’ve tutored all age groups, including preschool to adult ages.

I love personalizing lessons to suit each student’s individual needs and preferences. My main strengths include making complex material digestible, creating study plans to achieve goals, and providing study guides to allow for a comprehensive understanding of the material. I think it’s equally important to teach how to learn as well as the material, and I love watching my student’s confidence increase as they succeed!
