"Hi! I’m Amir Shahla, a Stanford undergraduate studying Mechanical/Biomechanical Engineering, and a proud recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship, one of the most competitive academic awards in the U.S. Over the past six years, I’ve helped college students master challenging STEM coursework, including three years as an official tutor in two departments at College of the Canyons.

My approach is all about learning by doing. In our sessions, we’ll break down complex concepts into clear, visual steps and apply them to real-world problems. I draw from hands-on experience, including leading NASA’s RockSat-X sensor payload project, designing the E.D.E.N. oxygen-recycling module, and conducting stratospheric biological sampling, to show how theory connects directly to modern science and engineering.
