"Hi! I'm Naomi. I have over 5 years of tutoring experience with students ages 9 through 23. My tutoring background spans:

Elementary: Math and reading comprehension

High School: Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Chemistry

College: Calculus I & II, General Chemistry I & II, Organic Chemistry I & II, foundational and advanced Neuroscience various.

I began college early, graduating high school 2 years ahead of schedule before earning my BSc. in Neuroscience from Emory University. Alongside academics, I’ve spent 10+ years working with students with special needs—as a tutor, coach, and buddy—and I’ve received advanced tutor training through School on Wheels.

I believe learning should feel both achievable and rewarding. I tailor each session to the individual, whether we’re building from the ground up, tackling that one tough topic that just won’t stick in a new way, or diving straight into practice problems. Over the years, I’ve built a creative and informed teaching toolbox and I love finding the “aha” moment with each student.

Time permitted, I find that equipping you with the big picture understanding with how it relates to all of our lives is both highly beneficial for getting school to click more easily and to enjoy studying!
