"I hold a Master of Science in Geology and have taught undergraduate geology lab courses as a graduate teaching assistant, managing full sections of 28–30 students and often teaching up to three lab classes per semester. These courses emphasized hands-on learning in topics such as earth systems, rock and mineral identification, and environmental processes. My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and fostering genuine understanding rather than memorization.

Outside the classroom, I’ve provided one-on-one tutoring in mathematics through Calculus II, as well as Algebra, Trigonometry, and Precalculus. I also supported high school students in a college bridge program. My tutoring emphasizes identifying conceptual gaps, building confidence, and adapting explanations to individual learning styles.

In addition to my teaching background, I bring a strong foundation in environmental science, with research experience in paleoclimatology and a graduate thesis focused on lead contamination in urban soils.
