"I’m a passionate graduate student who enjoys helping students succeed in math and science. I know from experience that subjects like physics, chemistry, and calculus can feel intimidating, but with the right guidance, they can become approachable and even enjoyable. My goal as a tutor is to simplify complex topics, boost confidence, and help each student reach their academic potential through personalized support.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Medical Sciences at Boston University, where I hold a 3.77 GPA while preparing for medical school. I also earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Biology and a Master of Management from the University of British Columbia. In high school, I scored 5s on the AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, and AP Physics exams, demonstrating my strong foundation in STEM.
I have over five years of tutoring experience across physics, math, and chemistry. I’ve worked with students ranging from middle school to college, helping them build strong foundations, prepare for exams, and achieve their goals. My approach is highly personalized, I tailor each session to the student’s needs and goals, whether that means breaking down concepts step by step, using real-world examples, or focusing on test-taking strategies.
My experience includes one-on-one tutoring, group sessions, and volunteer mentorship programs. I’ve supported students with a variety of goals, from catching up in class to excelling in advanced coursework. Many of my students have improved not only their academic performance but also their confidence in STEM subjects.
I am committed to making learning approachable, goal-driven, and tailored to each student’s unique needs." less...
