"Hi, I'm Lisa! I am an experienced, certified teacher and tutor of grades 3-9 for 16 years. I currently reside in Nashville, Tennessee, and have previously work in California and Colorado (where I earned my Masters of Education in 2007).

I thrive on making strong connections with my students and creating passion-based lessons in order to unlock their full potential. I strive to make learning fun, engaging, and accessible for my students, building their self-confidence and academic rigor. My specialties include MATH, writing, grammar, reading, and ISEE test prep.

In my career, I have worked at public schools, highly competitive privates schools, and worked as a private 1:1 teacher and tutor. I have worked with students needing support, as well as students who desire a challenge or faster pace of learning. Through the varied professional teaching experiences I've had, I am adept at identifying and targeting each student's unique needs.
