"I'm a passionate educator with over 22 years of experience teaching in Maryland public schools. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science/Physical Education. Throughout my career, I’ve taught a wide range of subjects at both the elementary and middle school levels, including math, reading, health, science, social studies, and physical education. I've had the privilege of working with students of all ability levels and pride myself on adapting instruction to meet individual needs.

In addition to classroom teaching, I’ve tutored one-on-one and in small groups for over two decades. My approach centers on helping students understand the why behind what they’re learning. I encourage students to explain their thinking so they gain lasting comprehension—not just quick answers. This method builds confidence, independence, and a stronger grasp of concepts.

I also bring years of coaching experience to the table, having coached soccer and basketball for players ranging in age from 4 to 18. Whether it’s working with individuals or small groups, I focus on skill development, confidence, and character. I offer flexible training options, including in-person sessions as well as customized online programs that players can follow on their own—with regular check-ins and program adjustments to support their progress.
