"Hi! My name is Sailey N. I graduated from the University of Alabama in May 2023 with teaching certification for Pre-K-6th General Education and Pre-K-6th Special Education. During the first two years of my teaching career, I was a Resource Special Education teacher for 4th and 5th grade students. My role was to bridge the gap for students in the areas where they struggle. My instruction was based off each student’s individualized education plan and differentiated for each student. I am currently a Self-Contained Special Education teacher, where I teach students with many and varying functional needs. My role is to meet each student where they are and work towards growth in academics, as well as, their functional and behavior needs.
