"If you're looking for a Deaf signing tutor to help you gain skills with literacy (reading & writing), grammar, Study Skills, American Sign Language vocabulary, as well as American history- here I am at your service! I worked at a Deaf Day school for the Deaf and a mainstreaming school as a certified teacher for 17 years. Now I left the workforce two years ago to focus on other chapters in life, but I still offer my expertise by providing independent tutoring. I have a master's degree in Psychology from Howard University and a master's degree in Deaf Education with Reading Endorsement from Georgia State University. I've taught History (High School), British Lit (12th grade- primarily Hearing students), Study Skills (High School), Health (K-12), and English/Language Arts (middle school and 9th grade).

While I primarily communicate in American Sign Language (ASL), I am able to work with Hearing non-signers by means of utilizing Zoom's Sorenson program, where an interpreter will be available for us for smooth communication.
