"I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Knox College, graduating with a 3.9 GPA and honors including three-time Dean’s List and the Cleveland F. Bridgman Memorial Scholar award. I also have a Master's degree in Physical Education (K–12) from West Virginia University and an ESL Certificate (PK–12) from the American College of Education. I'm currently completing a Health Endorsement (PK–12) at Harper College. My Illinois Professional Teaching Licenses cover Elementary (K–9), Physical Education (K–12), and ESL (PK–12).

Over the past decade, I’ve taught a wide range of grade levels and subjects in both public and private school settings. I currently teach Physical Education to grades 6–12 and 6th-grade Math. I previously taught 3rd and 4th grade at Juliette Low Elementary, where I tailored instruction for a student population that was 80% English Language Learners. Earlier in my career, I worked with Pre-K through 1st grade at Plato Academy, emphasizing experiential learning and STEAM integration.

My teaching methods focus on differentiation, student engagement, and social-emotional learning. I've supported ELL and special education students and have experience with formal and informal assessment strategies.
