"Hi there. My name is Miss Eileen. I earned a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Fine Arts. And I have been teaching for 23 years. My love of learning began when I entered my first classroom at the age of 5. I was one of those students who sat at the front of the room so that I would hear everything my teacher was sharing. This interest and awe of learning continued throughout my education. When attending university, I was intrigued by the enthusiasm, care and endless time spent by my professors and mentors. It was at that point that I knew my journey would include teaching!

I love to teach and to tutor one-on-one. It is a gratifying experience to assist and observe the growth and success of an individual. As a professor of the arts, it has always been important to be able to clearly communicate ideas and projects. This includes the ability to read and write. I have extensive experience guiding and assisting students, one-on-one, in their reading and writing challenges.

I have 20 years of reading, correcting, editing and proof reading student papers and reports. For my profession, I have written many articles that have required expertise in accurately conveying information. I have earned an Advanced TEFL certificate and am looking forward to tutoring non-native speakers in learning English.

I love the Arts, which includes Art History! My undergraduate major at UCLA was Art History. I have extensive knowledge of the art movements and masters of art. I have visited art museums in the major cities of the world: Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris, Rome and more... If you have a question and I am not sure, I will definitely research and find you an answer!
