"I have a Master’s Degree in education and have been teaching for 29 years. I am certified in special education K-12, and in history/ social studies and English/ language arts K-9. I currently teach American history- including government- and reading intervention (a class for struggling readers). I also generally teach a section of English/ language arts both at remedial and accelerated levels. Reading and writing instruction for late elementary, middle and struggling students is a particular strength, as well helping students with special needs build successful academic behaviors.
