I was a very high-achieving student, receiving final cumulative GPAs of 4.3 in high school, 3.9 in undergrad, and 4.0 in grad school. I especially excel at teaching English, writing, French, history, social studies, psychology, sociology, politics, and other social sciences.
I tutored for many summers as a volunteer at my local library. I helped immigrants learn English, complete high school work, and study for their citizenship tests. I have also frequently tutored peers in writing and assisting them with difficult homework assignments. My tutoring approach is patient but dedicated and fine-tuned according to the needs of each individual student. I try to develop the best methods to inspire students and get them excited about and confident in learning.
