"I began my academic journey at the University of Georgia, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Biology. My love for both science and education led me to continue my studies at Georgia College and State University, where I received my Master of Arts in Teaching in Secondary Education. I am also a certified teacher in the state of Georgia, a credential that has allowed me to turn my passion for helping students learn into a career. These experiences have given me both a deep understanding of my subject and the training to teach it in ways that connect with students at different levels.

Currently, I teach high school students, and every day I get to see the challenges and excitement that come with learning. I work with students who may struggle with scientific concepts as well as those eager to dive deeper, and I enjoy tailoring my teaching to fit each student’s needs. My approach is interactive and student-centered: I use real-world examples, hands-on practice, and open discussion to make lessons meaningful and engaging. I’ve found that when students see how what they are learning connects to their everyday lives, they not only understand the material more clearly but also become more motivated and confident learners.

Beyond the classroom, I often provide one-on-one and small group support, giving me the opportunity to connect with students more personally. I believe learning happens best in a supportive and encouraging environment, where students feel comfortable asking questions and even making mistakes along the way. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students master the material in front of them but also to build the skills and confidence they’ll carry into every subject they encounter.
