"I hold a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology of Law, Criminology & Justice with a minor in French Language Studies from the University of Minnesota. I am also currently pursuing an M.A. in Counseling Psychology at the University of St. Thomas. My academic background has given me strong expertise in the social sciences, writing, research, and French language instruction.

Professionally, I have several years of experience working in higher education. This includes extensive work coaching students on college essays, personal statements, and written communication skills, which I approach with a balance of structure, encouragement, and clarity.

In addition, I have tutored and supported students in both one-on-one and small-group settings, helping high school and college-aged learners strengthen their writing skills, improve their study habits, and gain confidence in subject areas such as social studies, language arts, and French. My tutoring style is student-centered and adaptive, where I focus on breaking down complex concepts into understandable steps, building critical thinking, and meeting each student where they are in their learning process.
