"Amanda has 17 years of experience in the field of education and over 15 years of extensive tutoring experience, working with students across a wide range of grade levels and academic needs. Throughout her career, she has supported learners from early childhood through young adulthood, including those transitioning into adulthood. Her current tutoring focus is on Kindergarten through 3rd grade reading and writing, as well as executive functioning support for students in grades K–5. Amanda’s sessions are designed to meet each student where they are, using individualized instruction in areas such as decoding, fluency, comprehension, and written expression.

Her approach is grounded in building strong relationships and fostering confidence in her students. Amanda has experience working with learners with a variety of needs, including ADHD, dyslexia, and language-based learning differences. She believes in the power of personalized instruction to unlock a student’s potential and promote lasting growth.

Amanda is currently the Supervisor of Special Programs in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where she oversees secondary special education and ESL. Previously, she served as a Learning Disabilities Teacher-Consultant in Wayne and Totowa. She has also taught across Kindergarten through 5th grade, giving her a strong understanding of child development and instructional practice across early and middle childhood.
