"Hi! My name is Rina and I would love to be your tutor.

I went to Florida Atlantic University where I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and a Bachelors of Science with a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology. I have been tutoring for around 8 years mostly in math and science, my greatest accomplishment having raised a student from a D to an A in her math class. I currently work in a school teaching math and science in my community. The range of tutoring has spanned from in person to online and from elementary to college students.

My methods vary depending on the student. I love feedback and communication between me and my students. I like to check in to see what is and isn't working so that I can find a way for them to understand or just practice the material we are focusing on. I bring real world examples so that I can paint a picture that is easily digestible especially for difficult topics. I want the students to be comfortable and know that they are improving, so I am happy to check out any resources that the student may ask for or need.
