"Hi everyone, my name is Jasmin!

I am a Sophomore at the University of Kentucky, majoring in Finance and Mathematics. I have a 4.0 GPA, and I am a William C. Parker Scholarship recipient. I graduated high school as a Valedictorian and with a GPA of 4.6. Although not listed, I completed Harvard's Summer program, focusing on Mathematics. I have 3 years of tutoring experience, helping students as young as preschool up to college age. I teach students in a one-on-one style meeting, in order to maximize comfortability and follow that students pace. When helping students, I realize that all students have different learning styles, and my teaching adapts to each student. During every lesson I will first go over any initial questions a student may have before proceeding with a lesson. When covering a certain topic, I like to use content the student has already had exposure to. Such as homework, classwork, etc.

Growing up I struggled with math due to my teachers, I felt like they did not care and I was constantly behind. They just did not know my learning style! It was not until I started high school that Math finally made sense to me. My teachers would go above and beyond to make sure that I fully understood the course content and I hope to do the same for my students. Included with tutoring, I am available for 24/7 help, homework help, test prep, notes from the session and study guides! I can help your struggling student to get on track!

Although I specialize in Math, I am able to help you with any subject you may be struggling with. Including 16 AP classes, Spanish, French and any Math up to Calculus III. I am a passionate teacher and will do whatever possible to ensure my students perform to the best of their ability.
