"As a student in high school, I enjoyed tutoring my peers as a part of National Honor Society. Eager for a similar experience in college, I volunteered with an after-school program at an elementary school in my community. The following year, I held office hours at the Asian Culture Center on my college campus for international students and faculty to either receive help understanding their coursework or simply practice conversation in English.

During my various opportunities as a tutor, I found that I really enjoy helping others learn. I love making the material relatable and getting to know the student and their abilities.
