"Hey! I'm Ito, and I have been teaching Spanish, English, and the violin for about 8 years now. I have experience with mainly all age groups one on one and have used methods that revolve around turning lessons into intriguing games or activities in order to keep the student interested. I will provide you with specific study methods for each of these subjects so that there is more direction in the learning overall. I will make sure you understand the concept and not dread learning about it. The one thing I learned that is the most important is that one learns best when they are not stressed out.

For Spanish I am in OLAS, a Hispanics-led organization, and have completed an international baccalaureate program for the language. In addition, I have helped Hispanic kids that do not speak English to feel less excluded in general. In a classroom setting, I have tutored kids in ESOL in Spanish and helped them either with their math, history, or English classes. I have always been interested in Spanish and learning it for as long as I can remember. I can help you read, write, understand different Hispanic accents, and speak formally and conversationally. As for English, I am a native English speaker and I can help you feel more comfortable reading, writing, and speaking the language overall, whether it may be formally or informally. I have also completed an international baccalaureate program for this language. In terms of music, I am very connected to music and have always been since I was a child. One instrument that always stuck with me however, was my violin. I can help you learn to read music, play difficult passages, and feel better connected to your instrument as a whole.
