"Hi! My names Joseph, but you can call me Joe, Joey, or Joseph as well. Im currently on the track to graduating Pace University with a major in Biology. A Biology degree wasn't always my first choice, but its been an interesting choice so far. Originally I had picked a business major with a minor in economics, but I quickly grew bored of the curriculum. I still study some aspects of business, but I mainly stick to the sciences overall!

I've never formally tutored someone under a program like Wyzant, but I do have experience in tutoring sciences on a friend to friend basis. Most of my friends would come to me if they needed help with Genetics, Bio homework, Physics, English, and so on!

Even though this would be my first time tutoring, I am excited to see what will come from this. I want to get into the medical field later in life , so helping people is a bit engrained in me. I want to not only push the limits of my students, but also have my students teach me on a daily basis as well. Information can be learned both ways, and I feel it is my job to ensure my students comfort in this thought. You can expect active engagement with multiple fun activities to do at each session for the highest learning experience:).

Elementary Math is probably the only math that I would stand out in! As soon as the math levels reach Calculus I had a hard time understanding a lot of what was being said. Elementary math can be made fun with helping students achieve the answer on their own!

I have been writing research papers, lab reports, and other essay-formatted-like papers for years. I know what it takes to get a good paper, and I can try to make it as fun as possible.

I myself have ADHD so I know what it takes to help these students understand their superpowers. ADHD children need to understand that they are different, but this is what makes them special. We have the ability to focus on tasks that we like with laser-like focus. ADHD is by no means a disability:).
