"I have studied classical piano for over ten years, with additional training in music theory, composition, and production. My background spans both classical repertoire and modern genres, allowing me to teach students with a wide range of interests. I’m currently a student at the University of Miami Frost School of Music, majoring in Media Scoring and Production, with minors in Japanese and Composition. Alongside my formal studies, I have experience accompanying vocalists and instrumentalists, arranging music, and releasing music!

My teaching experience includes working one-on-one with beginner to advanced piano students, ranging from kindergarten to adults! I focus on building strong foundational techniques while also keeping lessons creative and engaging.When working with kids, I focus on games, movement, and confidence-building. Meanwhile, with older students, I emphasize musical expression, problem-solving, and independent practice strategies. In addition to piano, I can also support students in music theory, ear training, composition, and music production.

My overall teaching philosophy is to meet each student where they are and help them grow in a way that feels supportive, structured, and inspiring. Because I have experience in many genres and sectors of music, I bring a flexible perspective that will help students stay motivated and curious. I love helping people understand music more deeply, and I hope to guide students toward both skill development and genuine enjoyment of learning.
