"Hi! My name is Justin. I'm a second year medical student at NYITCOM and graduated Summa Cum Laude from NYIT with a bachelor's in Life Sciences. I am in their 7 year BS/DO program with 2 years left. I've been tutoring one-on-one either privately or with a company for the past 6 years now. It is one of my absolute favorite activities. I have tutored high school students, college students, and even fellow adults in medical school. I received a 515 on the MCAT with only 3 weeks to study for it and have been in the top 5% of my medical school class each semester for the past 2 years.

I typically like to take a more inquisitive approach with teaching, showing the students that they already know the answer!(They just needed the right line of questions) I also enjoy showing my students bits of the complex detail behind their material; I feel understanding the root cause and reasoning behind complex subjects makes them much easier to stomach as well as expand on. I like to use a mix of the material the students provide from school, as well as supplying some resources I've found. I specialize in any of the Pre-Med subjects(Biology, Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Anatomy, Physiology, etc...), as well as the MCAT. I will not only help you with the actual MCAT material, but I will help plan and find a schedule that works for you. I will help you excel in any of the AP STEM subjects: AP Calc, AP Chem, AP Physics(1 and C) and AP Biology. I have helped students go from failing an AP course to scoring anywhere from a 3-5.

I am also extremely flexible for anything you'd like to go over. I will help you review old material, understand new material, get ahead on future subjects/expand your knowledge of the field you're studying. My lessons typically take a 30/30 format: 30 minutes of content review and 30 minutes of practice questions/homework, 30 minutes of Q&A and 30 minutes of applying those reviewing concepts. However, I'm flexible for whatever works for you!
