I am an award-winning author, educator, college essay consultant, and public speaker. I have a BA from Brown University in French and Francophone Studies. As an undergrad, I tutored K-12 students through the Brown University Refugee Youth Tutoring and Enrichment Program. I spent my undergraduate summers teaching critical thinking, editing, and writing skills to high-achieving high school students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Most recently, I tutored students in reading and writing skills and taught SAT test prep classes at Principia Tutors & Consultants. I have helped my high school students gain acceptance to Ivy League universities, MIT, Stanford, and several other Top 50 schools.
As a 3x published author, I've had my work featured in The Guardian, The Washington Post, Washingtonian Magazine, The TODAY Show, BuzzFeed News, Byrdie, and NPR's Strange Fruit, among others. As a public speaker, I’ve spoken on the topic of narrative storytelling through writing at over fifty events as a keynote speaker, lecturer, panelist, guest speaker, and guest author. While most of my talks have been at colleges — Ivy Leagues, liberal arts colleges, state schools, and community colleges — I’ve also spoken to K-12 audiences, as well as at corporate events and conferences." less...
