"I'm Andy! I am a current student at the University of Texas at Austin. During my time in school, I found that the teachers who made difficult subjects easier and more fun were those who had thorough engagement with the class. These teachers constantly talked to the students, asked them questions about the subject and life, and ensured they understood the material. I try to apply this in my tutoring by directly teaching students about subjects they struggle with, ensuring comprehension, and guiding them through different processes and problems.

I have about a year of experience tutoring K-12 students in a Mathnasium tutoring center. I worked with students who needed assistance and usually worked with a group of 3 to 4 students at a time. These students often struggled with problems, so I constantly checked up on them to ensure that they did not fall behind or become confused. In this setting, I tutored a wide range of students and gained experience tutoring various students.
