"I am a graduate student at Appalachian State University pursuing my master’s degree, and I hold a bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background in mathematics. My academic training has strengthened my ability to explain mathematical concepts clearly, identify learning gaps, and adapt instruction to support different learning styles in a patient and encouraging way. Through my coursework, I have developed strong skills in breaking down complex ideas and helping students build conceptual understanding rather than relying on memorization.

I have experience teaching and tutoring elementary and secondary-aged students in both classroom and one-on-one settings. Through my student teaching experience, I have worked with students in grades 1–5, supporting math instruction in whole-group, small-group, and individual formats.
