"About me: My career choice and dedication to education are not an accident. My grandparents and their families came to the US for a better life (with no wealth of any kind) and I was raised by a single mother for years. Finances were a constant concern. No member of my family has a college degree because it wasn't possible for them, but they all knew that education was important not only for personal development but also for career opportunities. Like my family, I am convinced that education and training are the keys to a better life for myself and my family.

I have dedicated my entire career to helping students fulfill their educational goals and reach their potential.

Education: I earned a Bachelor's degree at Fordham University, a Master of Arts degree at New York University and a Sixth Year degree in Educational Leadership at Central Connecticut State University. IN addition I have completed additional coursework completed at the University of Connecticut, Southern Connecticut State University, and Post University.

Experience: I have been working in education since 1994. I have been a high school, middle school and university French and history teacher. I taught high school and university level history courses for 10 years. I am proficient in Spanish (I would say at an intermediate level) and have tutored in both beginner levels of Spanish and English to speakers of other languages. Currently I am a high school administrator whose responsibilities include the world language and English learner programs.
