"Hello! My name is Tyler, and I am a senior at Grinnell College in Grinnell, IA. I currently have a 4.00 GPA in my biochemistry degree, and am so excited to begin my post-grad job working at the National Institutes of Health in June! Throughout college, I have enjoyed taking a variety of science courses, including (but not limited to): biology, chemistry (organic, physical, inorganic), physics, and math (calculus, statistics).

I have a myriad of tutoring experience throughout my time in high school and college. I have tutored for a few years in more structured programs for math and science for high schoolers, as well as offering private lessons in the sciences to underclassmen college students. I have also held more formal jobs as a Teaching Assistant for upper level biology and chemistry courses. I love working with students of all ages, and making sure everyone feels confident to ace their next exam or homework assignment! I also highly prioritize making sure students feel safe and respected in their learning environment, and hope to provide a welcoming space for students to ask questions and learn at their own pace.
