"I am a recent graduate of Kenyon College (GPA 3.8) who has just started a PhD at UMass Amherst in the Polymer Science and Engineering department. I have previously tutored high school chemistry, college introductory chemistry and college organic chemistry as well as a few math courses. On average, with regular tutoring, my students with a C end their courses with an A. I have also been a teaching assistant for labs during my undergraduate career. I typically tutor middle school, high school or college students. I prefer to tutor online and one-on-one but am happy to meet in person if that is preferred. I like to work through the content with my student and determine where the student is confused. Then, we may move on to practice problems focused on the difficult areas for the student.
