"Hi, I’m Mariam! I’ve been working with students for around 3 years now. I’ve previously worked at a tutoring center, as an online tutor, and as an assistant teacher in a childcare center, and I’ve worked with students of all ages. I’m most passionate about teaching math, which is what I primarily tutor now. I am comfortable at all math levels taken at the school level having earned a 5/5 on each AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, and AP Statistics, as well as a 760/800 on SAT math.

I’m currently a computer science major in university, and I love connecting with students! My main teaching method is to have students work through practice problems to find where they’re struggling and work with them to guide them through it, followed by giving them more practice problems. I work to let the students guide themselves through a problem and help them where they are struggling. As a student myself, I understand how it feels to be lost in a subject. I’m committed to helping students apply what they know and continue growing with patience.
