I'm Nick, a 33-year-old with a passion for tutoring. I have been a tutor for 10 years now (with a local, private tutoring company) and have directly contributed to the success of all my students, ages ranging from middle school to college. I am looking forward to continuing that success with Wyzant's platform!

I discovered a knack for tutoring and teaching while I was completing my Master’s in Neuroscience. I was a TA for an undergraduate class, which allowed me to experience first-hand what it was like to work with students and help them achieve their academic goals.

I began tutoring in 2014 when I graduated my first master’s degree. I first started working with middle school and high school students in biology and chemistry. I then incorporated test prep (ACT, SAT, and PSAT), math (geometry, algebra, and trigonometry), and physics into my repertoire as I continued to gain experience.

I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Tulane University and with a minor in Music. I went on to pursue a Master’s degree in Neuroscience and then an MBA from Tulane University as well. I received scholarships while attending school, including the Collegiate Achievement Award for my undergraduate degree, and the Freeman Fellowship Award for my MBA.

I prefer to work with students on an individual basis, but am available to work with groups as well. After each session, I provide a summary of what we covered, any homework assigned, and what is expected for our next lesson.
