"Hey! My name is Colin L., and after six years of teaching high school math (ranging from Algebra 1 to Calculus), I've decided to start my own teaching practice. I'm flexible with my scheduling, and able to work well with students of all skill levels and learning styles. Additionally, from my experience teaching in a high-needs district, I'm sensitive to the variety of student backgrounds, and understand the importance of patience and providing plenty of time for students to practice material on their own.

As far as my qualifications are concerned, I have a BS in Mathematics (also a BA in English!) from Villanova University, as well as an MA in Education from Rowan University. I have been tutoring for almost a decade, now, and have coached students to scores of 5 on the AP Calculus AB and BC exams, 1600s on the SAT, and perfect scores on the math section of the ACT.

As someone with both a degree in math and a degree in teaching, I'm able to tutor students in mathematics ranging from Algebra 1 to as high of a level as Calculus, and to deliver this material using research-backed pedagogical methods. I'm also experienced with programming in Python, Java, and JavaScript, and am more than happy take a look at any code you've produced for a project you're cracking away at.
