"Hi! My name is Dillon and I am currently a sophomore at UCLA, studying data science and statistics. I graduated from Livermore High School with a 4.63 GPA and was the class of 2022 Valedictorian. I took 13 AP Courses in high school and received a 5 on all of them. My main speciality is Math and am able to tutor any level from elementary to SAT (received a perfect SAT math score) and up to multi-variable calculus and linear algebra.

I have a lot of experience working with kids (ages 4-14), mainly as a camp director and sports coach for the last four years but also as a math tutor for the last three as well. I have worked in small group settings but more frequently in 1 on 1 settings for students who need extra help. My approach is to make learning as fun as possible by relating subjects to a student’s interest and setting objectives and rewards throughout the learning process. I do my best to adapt my teaching to fit the student’s learning style as I understand what works well for some students may not be the best for others.

My main purpose for tutoring is to help students understand the material and develop new learning skills to be successful in life. I try my best to always stay patient, thorough, and engaging.
