"Hi! My name is Aashvi, and I love helping students build confidence and success in math. I tutor elementary, middle, and high school math, as well as ACT and SAT math preparation. Math has always been my favorite subject, and I enjoy making it approachable and engaging for students of all levels.

I graduated in 2023 summa cum laude with major honors with a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas, earning a 3.99 GPA. In high school, I achieved a 1560 SAT score, 35 ACT score, and AP Scholar recognition, which reflect my strong background in math and test prep. I am now an aspiring Physician Assistant (PA) and will begin PA school next year.

During undergrad, I gained two years of teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant. In this role, I taught a class of 30 students in physics lab modules, guiding them through experiments and reinforcing key concepts. I also taught anatomy using models and helped students prepare for their practical exams. In addition, I worked as a Freshman Seminar Leader and mentor, meeting with students both one-on-one and in a full-class setting to provide academic and personal support during their transition to college.

I also volunteered at Lake Highlands High School, where I tutored ESL and math for refugee students—an experience that strengthened my ability to adapt lessons to different learning styles and backgrounds. Along the way, I earned a CRLA Level 1 Tutoring Certification, which demonstrates my training in effective and supportive tutoring strategies.

I believe learning works best when it’s interactive. Rather than just lecturing, I involve students in the process—asking questions, encouraging critical thinking, and guiding them step by step. This approach not only helps students master the material but also builds lasting problem-solving skills and confidence.
