"My name is Zach! I graduated from Wichita State University with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science and a minor in Mathematics. After graduation, I spent some time with graduate studies at Illinois Institute of Technology. I have 8 years of tutoring experience. My first 5 years of tutoring were spent working for USD 259 as an A.V.I.D. tutor where I worked with High school students. In this role my primary focus was aiding students with mathematics (algebra 1 & 2, trig, pre-calc, and calc 1) and science (primarily physics). This tutoring occurred both in the class-room as well as supplemental after school tutoring. In-class tutoring would often be with groups of 3-6 students where as after school sessions were typically one-on-one. I would later begin tutoring college students as I worked to complete my undergraduate degree. This tutoring was done one-on-one my primary with my subject focuses being algebra, calculus, physics, and introductory computer science.

Once I found full time employment at Netapp, I took on the role of introducing team members to the Python programming language. Here the sessions took the form a 1-2 hour long classes with up to 30 people, all professional aged ranging from new graduates to senior members of the team. Through-out my education and career I had always found myself gravitating toward positions and projects that would allow me to help others in learning new concepts and applying those concepts to novel situations.
