"I'm Robert I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. I was a commodities trader for 10 years and am currently an independent financial advisor and I tutor to help students while providing supplemental income for my family. My vast experience has been beneficial to my students. My schedule is also flexible. I have been tutoring for many years and have had great success with my students, ranging from middle school to college-age, and adult non-traditional students.

I began tutoring by helping work colleagues pass their certification exams. Most recently, I have been tutoring online and helping students with Algebra I, Algebra II, Pre-Algebra, College level Finance, and Series 7. These students have seen a major improvement in their grades. I help these students by understanding the key concepts by completing problems and providing a systematic approach to learning and memorizing concepts. I use developmental progression strategies to ensure my students will excel in the time they spend with me.

I prefer one on one tutoring but I have experience in tutoring small groups. I like to apply math to real-world situations and create math problems for students based on their learning curve. I focus on identifying the student's weaknesses then outline a plan for development. I provide a timeline for the student to reach their goals. Challenging students to push past discomfort and recognize change as a long-term commitment. I get great satisfaction knowing I help students overcome obstacles and reach their goals.
