"I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience from The Ohio State University. I am currently in the process of applying for law school. My passion for tutoring began in high school when I would help fellow high school students study for the SAT and ACT one-on-one. As I went into college, I started a tutoring organization at Ohio State called Branches Tutoring Club, focused on elementary and middle school students. This involved one-on-one as well as group tutoring ranging from three to ten students per group. Many of these students spoke English as a second language, thus a large portion of the work was dedicated to English reading and writing. During my last two years in college, I began tutoring college aged students one-on-one in the MCAT and LSAT.

I have scored a 173 on the LSAT (99th percentile), 515 on the MCAT, (94th percentile), 35 ACT (99th percentile) and 1520 on the SAT (99th percentile). I was also a national merit finalist. Students I have helped tutor on these tests have demonstrated substantial score increases, and I hope that you will too! I also received a 5 on the AP English Literature as well as the AP English Language exam and am passionate about teaching students in this subject.

I feel that the very best teachers I have had over the years were not merely concerned with their students achieving a high grade or score, but rather helping each of their students to truly learn the material and understand it thoroughly.
